Washington provides 96% of weapons used to massacre Palestinians: analyst
TEHRAN – Since the beginning of Israel’s latest war in Gaza, over 120 ships and 200 aircraft have transported weapons to the regime, with the majority of the supplies coming from Washington, stated a veteran Iranian analyst and university professor.
Saedollah Zarei was addressing a large crowd of worshippers at the University of Tehran, before Friday prayers.
“Gaza which only spans 360 Kilometers has been razed to the ground by bombs each weighing over 1 ton. Washington has provided 96 percent of these bombs. Still, the Zionist regime has not managed to reach any of its war objectives declared ten months ago,” the analyst explained.
Zarei slammed American officials for obstructing justice at international courts, saying Washington’s support for Israel comes in the form of military and political aid. “We saw how in the beginning months of Israel’s genocide; the U.S. prevented the UN Security Council from passing resolutions that asked for a ceasefire in Gaza. Americans have also shielded Israelis from accountability when they decided to threaten prosecutors at the International Criminal Court.”
Back in May, over a dozen U.S. senators sent a letter to the ICC and its judges. In the letter, the senators threatened the ICC with severe sanctions if it issued arrest warrants for Israeli officials.
The expert, however, told worshippers that despite all these efforts by Americans, Israel would eventually lose the battle to the Palestinians. “All this help and what Israel has gained in the past 10 months is nothing but failure. There is no victory for the Zionists.”
Zarei also commented on the regime’s assassination of former Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, warning that Zionists should not be allowed to normalize terrorism. “We need to give them a response that will teach them a lesson. The situation should not become the new normal.”
